Worth a visit for the interior by itself. The tables and group seating at the bottom is nice for the social experience, with it's own bar,

Always five star. It almost doesn't matter about the film. The environment is so lovely. The ambience wonderful. Our favourite date night (or afternoon) is the Rex, a good film, glass of wine, comfortable table and chairs and a good coffee. Plus the staff are just so nice. Thank you

The Rex is one of the best cinema experiences I have ever had. We keep going back as the atmosphere is superb and the film choices are really interesting. The bar is available even through the film and you can buy cheese and snacks which adds to a lovely visit.

I do not enjoy visiting chain cinemas but love The Rex. The building is stunning and seats are like large, comfy armchairs. The staff are helpful and friendly. The bar is well stocked with good choice of drinks and snacks. The pre-cinema meal deal at The Gatsby is delicious and excellent value for money.

First visit ever. Loved it. Looks a bit shabby from the outside and in the foyer, but the theatre is well maintained inside. Loved it! Super comfortable seats and a lovely 2 vars with snacks. We sat on the back row which is quite high, and will come back to try a table at the bottom.

Clean toilets and helpful staff to usher you to your seats.

Lovely venue. We had our own table, hot chocolate, tea and a cheese platter while we watched the film.
Loads of room, easy parking, bar and snacks on hand.
What is there not to like.

A wonderful traditional picture house. Super comfortable seats and able to have a drink from the bar while you watch. A superb experience. We will definitely go again.
