Tivoli Cinema Tiverton

The Tivoli IS an old theatre but so what? It is perfectly adequate for most people’s needs. I took my granddaughter there on Saturday and the entrance fee was reasonable. I had read other reviews saying that concessions were expensive. All cinema’s charge more for sweets, etc. so I was expecting this. The young man behind the counter was friendly, polite and helpful. The movie was brilliant (Sing 2) and we enjoyed the atmosphere. The only negative was feeling cold so we kept our coats on. All in all, a good experience!

Tivoli cinema may be old but has plenty of character and fond memories for me.
I remember going there for the Saturday matinee as a child.
My only criticism about the cinema is the heating. Went to see the Batman tonight and I was freezing and had to keep my coat and hat on that's why only four 🌟

There is talk of having more screens but where is the funding coming from is a mystery.

The place is a fantastic little cinema which has a great bit history to it and while it only has one screen, you can always catch the latest films for viewing. The snacks are a tad on the high price, but they don't frown at you bringing in your own snacks and drinks. While you can book online, I've never found a need to and it saves you the online booking charge.

Made a change from the more modern multi screened cinemas. Staff made us really welcome.

A great cinema you shouldn't pass by. Good sized screen, excellent sound quality from the Dolby Digital sound system, warm and a great selection of snacks and drinks. Highly recommended.

Amazing old cinema - went with my daughter and had the cinema all to ourselves except for 1 other patron. Great quality screen and sounds, well stocked tuck shop and a reasonable ticket price. The snacks were expensive but of course, that is normal.
