It’s taken me almost a year to write this review (sorry Jamie - settling in takes a long time 😀) but I had to do one. I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I’ve had with a service provider. We were a bit apprehensive about using a removal company that was not one of the well known ones but when we first met Jamie (when he came around to give a quote) he was very professional and put us at ease immediately. His confident pitch filled us with confidence that he knew exactly what he was doing and he gave us a very reasonable price as well. On the day of the move, Jamie and his team turned up on time (to the minute!!) and very efficiently filled their van with the all our stuff. They dismantled the pieces of furniture that needed doing (which they put up when we got to the other house). They were equally very professional and friendly at the same time and just watching it, it was a very well-oiled operation with Jamie at the helm as the project manager ensuring everything was well organised and placed properly in the vans. During the wait to move into our new house, Jamie and the team were very relaxed with the timing (we weren’t - we were stressed) and when we finally got the keys, they put everything away in the designated rooms and reassembled the furniture. Everything was all clean and tidy when they were done and then they were gone! It was absolutely brilliant. I would recommend this team to anyone and I would use them again if we had to move again. Jamie was friendly and helpful from the start, promptly completing the home survey and giving us a very competitive quote. The communication throughout was very good, with lots of pre move tips and very clear guidance on what to expect on the day. The team arrived promptly on move day and got straight to work packing up and then delivering all our belongings safely and carefully at the other end. The team were friendly, helpful and really took the stress out of the move day. We would not hesitate in recommending Surrey Removals after the fantastic experience we have had.

Jamie and his team were great from start to finish and really helped ease the stress of moving. The team were very punctual and really friendly and efficient with their service. They moved all our items out of our previous house, into storage for 3 weeks then into our new home with ease. Competitively priced and highly recommended!

Fantastic service received from Surrey Home Removals!

Jamie and the team were extremely professional from start to finish. All of our items were looked after during the move and nothing was too much trouble. I felt they went out of their way to load as much onto to the lorry as they could, taking items that I didn’t think they could or allow. Helped us out immensely as we had filled both of our own cars with items very quickly and didn’t have much room left!
The quote we received was very reasonable and the service we received was first class. Correspondence and general information about the moving process was thorough and very helpful.
Would definitely recommend and use the company again.
If I could name one thing that I think could help improve the service it would be that there is someone dedicated to answering the office/mobile phone, as often when I called I couldn’t get through. Jamie always got back to me however but sometimes not straight away.

I have moved twice using Surrey Home Removals. Both times the team were very respectful of our belongings, going the extra mile to protect possessions and the floors of the new house they were going to. The guys are a joy to have around, very professional, strong, willing and friendly. I couldn’t fault them. Really timely and helpful responses to my initial enquiry and Jamie was able to accommodate all that I needed in the most effective way based on his knowledge and experience. Moving home is one of the most stressful times for anyone. Jamie and his team went a long way to alleviate a lot of that for us. Jamie is very responsive on email and pays a lot of attention to detail in planning well ahead of the move day. This meant we were far less anxious leading up to the move as we were confident that a comprehensive plan was already in place. Their costs are very transparent and we did not encounter any hidden charges either.
The packing team were (almost scarily) efficient and we would highly recommend this extra option especially for those with busy lives with or without kids. The team packed up in a couple of hours (the day before the move) what we would have taken the best part of a week finding free time. Nick and the moving team were efficient and very responsive on the day of the move. They dismantled and re-assembled all furniture for us including beds, cot, and sofas; this meant we were ready to move in immediately. We would gladly recommend Surrey Movers to our friends and family.
