Great company, great service. We used movers to move our belongings from Preston to South West France. The service was great from the outset. The price was good and the lads who came to our UK home went the extra mile in the quality of how they individually wrapped all our furniture in a high quality lined protective sheeting. When the goods we're delivered to France one of the team said the important thing is that we place the furniture where you as the customer wants it. We were more than happy hence the review

This is the second time that Movers have transported goods (furniture
etc) for me to South of France. I wouldn't normally bother writing another review - except that, on this occasion the drivers, Nick and Paul, went way above the call of duty! We happened to pick the same delivery day that Storm Gloria descended on the town! Most of the surrounding roads to Quillan were blocked because of flooding, but Nick and Paul, determined to get to me, worked out a different route to the town and got to my house. They had just unloaded all my stuff onto the ground floor when we got the word from the gendarmes that we all had 5 minutes to evacuate the town and if possible, move all valuables to upper floors, before they carried out a controlled flooding of the town centre (very scary). With no word of complaint, the two set to again and carried all the furniture upstairs for me, to make sure it was safe. I even had a phone call this morning from Nick - " we just wanted to check you were all right!" What gentlemen - and what dedication to their work!
I cannot recommend these two highly enough.

I’m sorry to say I was not impressed at all with Movers International and their attitude to customer service. We made a large move from the UK to Spain, which included almost a year of storage of our items with them. The end result, I accept, was that the items were packed and delivered, but come on! This is like saying that I bought a car and when I turn the key it starts!
I’m disappointed with everything that happened around this move: The packers acted as if their job was to put items in boxes and leave boxes at the door of our 4th floor apartment. Want items to be taken up to the 4th floor? Want help to build furniture? Want empty boxes to be picked up? Want the delivery to take place on dates that suit you? Everyone of these services has a fee attached to them. The worst of all these examples is that we were told our delivery had to be made in two days and no more (due to their scheduling) and the only way this could be achieved was by me hiring a crane at my expense to make this schedule possible. There was was no other way they would finish the job in the two days they allowed for us.
I would not be writing this review if I did not have a point of reference. I have had an expatriate career and with that, have made approximately 10 international moves. Our items have been moved to the UK, Poland, Portugal, the US, Canada, various countries in Latin America, and finally now to Spain. I can say with no hesitation that of all these moves, this has been the worst we have experienced.

5 star service, can't thank them enough for how easy they made the move. From James organising everything, the removal men in Madrid to those who dropped our things off in Scotland, I don't think it was possible to do a better job. Well done and thanks :)

We would highly recommend Movers International. The moves team did a fantastic job from start to finish.
From our initial enquiry, James was extremely helpful and answered all our questions, and there were many. He helped us through every step of the process and kept us informed of dates and what to expect. The price was very competitive and the quality and professionalism of the service was excellent.
Martin and his mate were brilliant packing and logging everything in the U.K. All our furniture was very well wrapped in protective packaging to ensure there was no damage.
We were kept well informed of the delivery schedule and then Martin and Colin did a fantastic job delivering. They really went over and above to get things where we wanted them in our Spanish home, despite some access challenges.
Everything arrived as planned and we had a lot of very fragile items of great sentimental value that all arrived safe and sound.
Thank you for providing such a great service, we would highly recommend your company to anyone moving overseas. It really took a lot of stress out of what is quite a challenging move.

Brilliant service and a great company. Could not fault them. James made everything goes so smoothly. The chaps at Alhaurin did a brilliant job on delivery too. On time - helped with assembly, took away rubbish. A complete service. Could not be happier and would definitely recommend this company.

We were extremely disappointed with the service provided by movers international. Our goods were collected on 25/7/22 and did not leave the Uk until 20/9/22. We were informed about the “state of the global shipping market” but I cannot fathom how it can take 8weeks for our goods to leave Uk shores. I feel there was no consideration for getting our goods on a ship asap. I do not believe there were no alternative ships available before 20/9/22. 8 weeks between collection and initial departure is unacceptable.
21weeks door to door is ridiculous
And even if all of the above was “unavoidable, beyond our control” WHY was there zero communication to inform us of the initial 8week delay
If we had known we would be leaving Uk shores 3weeks before our goods we would have been able to plan our lives around this information. This lack of communication was the most disappointing aspect of the whole process
