I had to organise a downsize move for my elderly father-in-law from the family home into a retirement apartment. Alex was extremely helpful in terms of estimate/candid about costs etc. The move could not have gone more smoothly. The removal team were punctual and super-efficient - it wasn't the most straightforward collection for them as there were bits and pieces of furniture and boxes in all parts of the house, some to be taken, some to be left. At the delivery end (a retirement complex) they could not have been more considerate and courteous, not only to us, but to the staff and other residents. Highly recommended.

Wow! Alex and his team were truly amazing, a four day move from Molesey to Southampton. Not only did they remove all of our belongings including some very heavy and bulky items, transport them safely and quickly to our new home, but all the while during a heatwave without a single grumble or complaint. Everything arrived safely with no breakages or damage. The guys were extremely courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend, and give them more than 5 stars if there was that as an option. I am so pleased with the removals service we received from Baldwins. Jake and Tom packed up our 3 bed house on day 1 quickly and efficiently always checking with us regarding our preferences. They had spare boxes / tape to hand (which we didn't know we needed !) and were both very friendly and so helpful guiding us through the process which can be very stressful and overwhelming

On the actual move day to Poole Jake and Joe were our movers and were also brilliant. They were punctual and so polite, flexible and efficient and i cannot believe how hard they worked to quickly and carefully load / unload our things, taking them to each room with just the 2 of them

This was a hugeley expensive service which I thought was worth while due to the nature of my work and moving with a pregnant wife.

Alex appeared to care, however once the money is in their bank not too hoots are given.

We now have a dining table which cannot be used because they have lost the nuts and bolts, they recommend we go and source some new ones… We also have a bed with missing nuts and bolts again we have been left to source and replace these. Not quite the hastle free service we were expecting.

Our sofa cushions look like a bear has taken them to into the woods and used them to clean up after whatever bears get up to in the woods. Once again we have been told to clean these ourselves.

On top of this we have many broken items.

The insurance company they use is absolutely awful and again take no care or pride in any service they offer.

I've moved locally and internationally many times, always working with various moving companies and never has it been this easy. Upon making an initial inquiry, Alex got back to me very quickly regarding terms and quote. The service was reasonably priced (it was a local move in Surrey) and there were no hidden costs/unexpected changes to the agreement. On the day of the move the team were amazing! We had a lot of furniture in a tiny flat that all needed to be dismantled and then moved through narrow staircases to their new location where they would be assembled again. This was not an easy task but the team managed it perfectly, without a single item being scratched and maintaining professionalism and courtesy throughout. Overall it was a very relaxing moving experience thanks to the team at Baldwin, and I highly recommend them! Definitely money well spent.

What can I say? This firm are committed, professional, and friendly. From the moment Alex came round with a very competitive quote, they put me at ease and I felt that the whole removal part of my move was literally stress free.
From day 1, packing, and throughout moving day, the team were a real credit to Baldwins, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company to other people.
On the day of my move, they were faced with a couple of big challenges when we got to my new home, but this didn't faze them at all, even to the point of having to carry part of my sofa up 5 floors because it wouldn't go in the lift and still remained cheerful!
The aftercare is excellent as well. All I had to do was tell Alex when I had unpacked the boxes and on the same day, someone popped in to pick them up for recycling.
