Beautiful small but perfectly formed nature reserve. Originally part of the Hawkwood house estate the mature nature reserve is on the edge of Epping Forest sandwiched between Hawkwood and Yardley Hill. An easily missed local gem it has a pond (take some duck food) and plenty of ducks and birds.

Absolutely stunning on a warm summer's day , wouldn't of believed we could wander in such lovely scenic countryside on our doorstep , Hawkwood and petts wood enchanting , sorry I've headed this nature reserve , I've made mistake this is for Hawkwoods petts woods CHISTLEHURTST
