Really wonderful experience! When you walk up, it looks like the museum is only the windmill and one old barn building, but it is deceptively expansive and comprehensive. We visited with two small children and there was much to keep them engaged. My expectations were completely surpassed and I would be happy to return!

Exceptional. It's great to have such an informative museum with great staff in our village. The amount of history of the fens and the village is impressive. This is a great place to take children.

A quirky little museum with an underrated small working Telephone Exchange from the 1950-1960 era. Visitors will enjoy using the dial telephones to call one another and see and hear the Electro- mechanical exchange respond to the calls.

Absolutely loved this place. Slightly eccentric but full of character. Every time we turned a corner there was more to see. Volunteers were extremely friendly and attentive. A must see place.

A hidden gem of a rural museum, obviously curated with great pride. Well worth a visit if in the area, perhaps combine with Wicken Fen, Ely Cathedral or Burwell village trail/ walks for a full day out.

A very comprehensive collection of local historic objects but sadly lacking in meta data to explain their context (with the exception of the historic transport collection which was excellent). These comments shouldn't undermine the dedication that has gone into gathering and curating the museum. Others may not have the same issues that I did.
