There’s a beautiful view from the rooftop! It’s free and you can access from the 2nd floor. The museum has a great collection about the city of Bristol but the exhibition itself seems a bit old fashioned. I miss the recent facts like Black Lives Matter protest.

A great museum with a lot of exhibits about the history of Bristol and its people. Is worth a visit and entry is free. Been on the ground floor is great for wheelchair users and people with prams. Entry is free and is only 10 minutes walking distance from SS Great Britain. The cafe with the seating outside is a nice place to spend time.

Great place to learn about Bristol history. Kids loved it. Has interactive plays and lots of stop to enjoy. Easy, beautiful walk to it if you going with bus.

A really good museum next to the harbour with many displays. It clearly shows the history of Bristol and I still don’t know how they got a double decker 1980s bus in there. Sometimes, the steam trains from the Bristol harbour railway park up outside and you can smell the steam from inside the building. Overall, a nice thing to do whilst in Bristol.

Great place to spend an afternoon learning about the history and evolution of Bristol (and England in general!) I love the fact that the walls are full not only with interesting things but also pictures of contemporary people - change makers, visionaries, activists, artists and so on. There’s an original Banksy on sight, the Grim Reaper - one of the oldest ones, a cool range of vintage cars, motorbikes and other means of transportation and there’s even an old red telephone box. Cool place! Excellent for tourists! Free entrance ticket and parking available nearby..

Nice place to go with family. Detailed museum of Bristol in ages Located at the centre of city. Harbor side.
Everything kept very neat and tidy. Inside the and outside the museum lots to enjoy. Small cafe inside.
Outside there is lots of cargo restaurants with dine in and takeaway. But little costly.
Wine and beer also serving in the cargo restaurants.
Parking..
On nearby parking places run by council,
pay and display or pay by ring go app.

Had a great visit. First time visit and really enjoyed it. My father worked at Rolls Royce in the 70s and worked on Concorde after mentioning this an amazing guide took us behind the scenes to look at one of their exhibits. We would highly recommend a visit it is highly worth it.
