Bushey Museum and Art Gallery

Really interesting exhibits. I went for the Ben Uri Collection. That was good. And then I browsed around and learnt about local artists and other aspects of Bushey life.
What really got me was the selection of tea caddies and what the Chinese meant by the word caddy......

Lovely local museum with great paintings and of course Wham memorabilia

A very interesting museum and art gallery. I do think the central display pillar in the former Council Chamber should be removed and thus the room opened up as a better space. Some loss of display space would occur but the aesthetic benefits would be huge. Also if they could move the glass display case from in front of the wonderful fireplace in that room.

The museum was putting on a wonderful exhibition called 'Bunting Fit For A Queen' by Ascend which Sian Fenwick organised. Funded by Arts Council England and Hertfordshire Community Foundation. 70 flags, one for each year of her majesty's reign . Each one done by a local person with love and respect for our amazing Queen.

Interesting local museum with historical items and also a great art collection upstairs. When I visited there was a display about the Queen’s silver jubilee. Bushey had an arch built over the Main Street for it. I also learned about artist Lucy Kemp-Welch and appreciated her wonderful paintings of horses. The staff working there were welcoming and friendly! And it was surprisingly free admission!

A good collection of arts, paintinga nad photography works.

An excellent local museum with something to interest everyone. Regular changing exhibitions. Their collections have grown so much and i always see something new. Good range of publications for sale and excellent cards. The volunteer staff always provide a warm welcome and interesting to talk to.
