An excellent small museum of local history with helpful and friendly staff. The building (dating from 1649) is an exhibit in itself. Well worth a visit.

The leatherhead Museum / Local history society contains a nice variety of local history and information about the area. I came in here a while ago to find out some information about another business on the high street and how it developed over the years and they were able to provide photos and information. If you are looking for historical information about the town, this is the place to go.

The Staff are friendly and helpful and always a pleasure to talk to.

The museum itself is beautifully presented and very informative but I had the absolute pleasure of spending an hour or two with the stewards. Their stories, knowledge, and charming personalities provided me with an incomparable afternoon. This building will now have a place in my heart and I can't wait to revisit ♥️
