Pistons and props show. Great day out. Great atmosphere. Awesome vehicles. Would be 5 stars but for the disgusting state of the portable toilets and definite lack of hand sanitiser stations or any kind of social distancing enforcement whatsoever.

Free entry, donations welcome, it’s like a Tardis inside. The guys in charge are super knowledgeable and very friendly and the exhibits are vast, unique, wonderful in fact, I was pleasantly surprised.

You feel like you are stepping back in time the minute you enter the door, the museum is quite unique in its approach. From medals to pieces of crashed aircraft, uniforms and weapons, personal histories to paper cuttings, it’s all very well displayed?

There are two planes on the outside, one being the Hawker Hunter jet, we loved looking around this museum and we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent place to vist for Air shows or Car shows. Lot's of parking at the second gate and an overflow car park a little further up the road, we went on a Saturday for the Silverstone Auction with Fetrari owners club there also, lots to see if you like Ferrari's and Old planes an excellent combo. I would highly recomend it to anyone with children of the age 5 and older.

Good collection of historical documents from world war 2, no real static display of aircraft apart from 2. Free to enter, donations gratefully accepted. Well worth a visit. The airfield is also home to the 'warbirds' so you might be lucky to see a Spitfire in flight, or a tiger moth.

Had a great experience, taking my daughter there as she loves planes, museum artifacts are all genuine, taking you back in time, you do have to appreciate the war in the past, makes you feel privileged in this modern day and age. The staff were great, picked up a few souvenirs, including an airfix model-childhood memories, overall a great experience and time well spent, was advised during the week you do get to see the old planes roll out and take off.

It's interesting but only to those who are fascinated by such things. Today who are not will find it boring and uninviting through no fault of the volunteers why really try hard.

They don't have enough space for everything and the beasts people want to see, the planes, are behind a fence.

I have interest in the subject but found the exhibits too randomly placed to create a natural flow. There are some attempts to do this but it doesn't really work.

The one picture is actually more interesting than the exhibits which sums it up really.

Plenty of parking, even if your not overly interested in aircraft. Worth a visit.
Walked down to aviation cafe on an upstairs level. Small but had outside balcony. Good beverages and food at affordable prices and clean. Toilets available down on ground floor. Just the buzz of an engine made you want to see take off and landings.
Super little museum friendly welcome and introduction. Enough to be of interest and well stocked. Free of charge but please put in donation when leaving its not much to ask for there dedication to there museum.
