Lots of history, fascinating house with intricately carved panels. Beautiful walk alongside the stream. Tricky road access and parking a little limited. Good cafe, decent prices, pleasant staff.

Family house party as a birthday gift was a good use of this interesting house. Great garden space, lots of hiding place for games, well equipped kitchen and a great atmosphere.

Wow, wow, wow. What a beautiful little house set in tranquil surroundings. Well done Denbigh Council for keeping it going. A true gem.
Facilities and car parking on site.
Well worth a look

Great place to visit which is also dog friendly. The grounds to the house are huge, with a lovely walkway through a wooded area along the stream which leads you to the wishing well and summer house. The house itself has some amazing carvings everywhere! Very interesting story behind the ladies of Llangollen too which is included in each room. Great place to visit for an afternoon, although the house is so small it doesn't take much longer than 30 mins to take it all in.

Wonderful place to visit. Staff were really friendly and very knowledgeable. A lovely way to see how the Ladies of Llangollen lived. Beautiful part of Cymru too

Wonderful quirky house.
A nice introductory talk before we went in about the history of the house. Some parking and a nice tea room. The grounds are fairly small but really pretty. All in all a fantastic place to visit.

We visited Plas Newydd today which is where the famous ladies of Llangollen lived. It was well worth a visit. The house is so absolutely beautiful. It's wood carvings all over the entire house. The gardens are fascinating leading down to a stream with several bridges over and little secret summerhouses. There is also an excellent tea room where we enjoyed coffee and cake. It only costs £6 to get in. Well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend a visit here.
