Some fascinating exhibits but could do with more explanation. No refreshments of any sort

Museum, built next to the cottage (which you can visit) that David Lloyd George grew up in. Worth going to, while visiting neighbouring areas. He was one of the most influential Prime Ministers we've ever had.

This is an excellent little museum, it's small size belying the wealth of information well presented in the exhibits. It won't appeal to everyone, but if you have any interest in this country's history or more specifically in Lloyd George, then I would strongly recommend a visit. Entrance includes access to his childhood home and nearby grave site, which can be visited without paying for the museum. Toilets available within the museum but otherwise no other facilities though anything one might require is readily available in nearby Criccieth.

Small museum dedicated to the life of the late Prime Minister David Lloyd George.
All exhibits, either photographs or items have a description of them in Welsh or English and most have a version also in French.
A small video theatre is there to give you an introduction to the great man himself, and the reasons why he became the political force over time, that brought help to the poor and elderly of this nation.

Lots of interesting material I had read Lloyd Georges biography and seen documentaries but still learnt a lot more about the great man.
Lovely grounds too

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the museum. The key points of Lloyd-George's life are displayed. We enjoyed the old school room and all the various items on display. You will find Lloyd-George's childhood home a very short walk from the museum. Again, we really enjoyed being inside his old home. Another short walk will take you to his grave by the river.

A lovely little museum off the beaten track dedicated to Lloyd George. £6 entry per adult which includes a beautiful book.

Well worth a visit if you are interested in British history. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, a picnic area and kids play area, so something for everyone.
