Nice modern building which makes a nice museum. There is a canteen and toilet facilities and entrance is free. Caters to both adults and children. About an hours visit - depending on how long you spend on each exhibit, of course!

Great view into Swansea's transportation past. Shame people of 50 years ago didn't keep these trams running for future generations to enjoy.

Upstairs is all a bit lifeless and worthy. Some info boards, display cabinets featuring nothing of any real interest for me and dimly lit models of boats Downstairs was better, but not what you might call riveting. They are very proud of their metal smelting heritage (ooo! metallurgy) but it's all a bit random and incoherent. The exhibits are generally lumps of metal or things made out of metal with bilingual blurb which is tricky to read and a bit dull I'm afraid. You'd loose any kids within minutes and even I was bored, and I like museums! So, 3/10

They’ve got a model of a slave boat. It’s very big, and you press a button and you hear all the slaves going “uuurgh”

Lovely little museum, only small and has 2 trams and a carriage but definitely worth a visit and the staff are lovely and are happy to tell you everything you need to know about what's there. My little boys favourite moment was wearing the hat.
