Great value for money. Needs some modernisation and tidying but it only cost £6.50 for an adult and there's plenty there. If you go there's a cafe at the airport and you can watch the light aircraft, helicopters, air ambulance and the coast guard fly from the airport too. Highly recommended

Great museum absolutely crammed full of exhibits with sections including tributes to the RAF mountain rescue teams, early aviation, and bomber command. Added bonus - You can climb in several cockpits. No toilets or cafe at the museum but the Welsh air ambulance cafe across the parking area is open on selected days of the week.

This is a small but well curated aviation museum, the staff are helpful and friendly and once you have entered, you can just wander around at your leisure, there are lots of side exhibitions and galleries that are interesting andgive a bit of context to aviation in Wales.
If you are in the area, this is well worth a visit, it is one of those little surprise venues that you discover by accident or on a wet afternoon with a car full of Children.

This is a great museum and deserves to be well supported. A good selection of planes on show and its reasonably priced to. The cafe in opposite building is worth visiting and they have nice kids lunch boxes available.

Excellent museum. Full of history. Loads to see, experience and learn. Jam packed with exhibits. You can even sit in planes. You don't need to be plane enthusiast to understand all technical bits. Just simply enjoy this amazing place. Parking is free. There is nearby a cafe. You can enjoy open space and maybe you will be lucky to see helicopter taking off from the airfield.

My second visit and the museum is looking a bit tired and in need of some TLC . Covid walkways and routes are still in place but not adhered too now by the majority which is fine and possibly more room and better access to exhibits if they were removed completely ?
Only one member of staff present when more would be better especially for answering and helping with questions inside the main display area .
A good selection of aircraft and memorabilia on display with the open cockpits being a bonus .
Nice cafe in the air ambulance building opposite and plenty of flying activity to watch too . All in all a good spot for a couple of hours visit .

What a great experience! The kids (3 and 12 y) have enjoyed sitting in the planes and seeing all the exhibits, so did we. After we bought some souvenirs and got a chance to see some helicopters flying from a nearby airport.

What a different experience 😁 a place time has forgotten. Great museum of aviation, worth an hour of your time for a visit, Enjoyed our tour nicely thought out and planned however some of the exhibitions could do with a refresh now 🤔Check opening hours before you go, lots of parking.
