Hmv

Very good place to get gifts, especially for the kids, including: A very large range of DVDs, ranging from Disney to Studio Ghibli to underappreciated indie films, geeky colouring books, merchandise, funko pops, posters etc. There is also a plentiful selection for adults.

Book not in stock. Ordered click and collect. Very long delay. Three visits to obtain book. Finally eight days later, book in store for collection.

Abysmal service. Had I ordered from Amazon, I would have had book within a day.

This is why retailers like HMV are failing. Poor service. Amazon is not a success on price, it is on service.

They have moved a hundred yards in the last year but service is excellent

Always have the best stuff for a anime, movie's and music fan's. A little overpriced on certain item's. Very clean and staff are friendly. But over all love this store

I visited hmv in Lincoln purely out of curiosity as I thought that hmv had gone into administration and I didn't realise that they had any physical stores anymore. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in, there was a lot of vinyl, and it was all catagorised alphabetically. There was also a lot of things like headphones and record decks and film merchandise and posters. It seems that hmv have diversified quite a lot as well as having a huge range of DVDs and rare albums.
