Hi my son was hailing from belgium with school but the shop was closed on a thuesday afternoon. I have visited this shop in the beginning of the 80's when daddy peckings was ruling the shop ( at this time shop was also not always open but you could find daddy in the nearby horse wedding shop ) next time when i visit londen i will sure have a look again !

Even though I haven't been to Peckings in 15 + years, I know Chris is still doing a top job and passionate about Ska/Rock Steady/Reggae music hence my overdue review. Looks like the shop has moved. Even though I only visited Peckings about a dozen times, he had the best selection of Studio One around and some rarities. A pity I don't live close by anymore. Awesome unique record shop, need to get back for a visit.

I was in a little time pressure situation which is a bad thing if you walk into a vinyl shop.
I was given good and friendly support and snatched some nice vinyl.
Thanks again to Mr.Price 😉👍🏼

I do not live close by to the area of Peckings Record Shop. For the last few Years I was trying to make contact by phone to the shop, in answer to my call it is a constant voice mail and I never get back any reply to my messages.

The home of reggae music in the UK. A family run business since the late 60s early 70s. A gem...
