Happened to stumble across this great little guitar shop whilst gigging in the area. Dan was extremely amenable, despite the fact that I spent hours trying different guitars. The knowledge he has about guitars is second to none and he even made me a coffee!!!! I would recommend R&B Music to anyone as you are guaranteed to buy with confidence. Thanks Dan and keep up the great work!!!!

Went in to purchase some strings and was greeted by a young boy whom looked around the age of 18 who seemed to have a chip on his shoulder. Went in a second time to ask for some advice on a structural issue on my guitar and was greeted by the same young boy who could not provide any information in the slightest. In terms of shop floor customer service, this place is extremely poor. And their ability to provide expert knowledge is in my opinion a cause for concern in terms of owning a professional music store. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

went in for a browse, wanted to buy a guitar and amp and arrange lessons. the guy seemed pretty cool so bought an axe and amp and accessories. he said he'd need to look at his schedule, so left number. called him back 5 times, keeps giving same answer - will need to get back to you. just say if you don't wanna teach someone instead of wasting their time.

It's a wonderful shop with great service. It's the only place I know of that has a divided by 13 dealership which is epic. I've been using Dan for set ups for years I highly recommend him if you're someone looking for a great guitar technician.

Came in over Christmas and was pleasantly surprised by the range of stock. I managed to get a lovely elec guitar and amp for myself and some strings for my husband. wide range of strings available by D'Addario with some sizes I didn't even know existed ! Lovely lady in shop and very helpful. the man in the shop who I presume was the owner was very knowledgeable. nice friendly atmosphere. would highly recommend and definitely go back.

In my experiences you'd be hard pressed to find any store (musical or otherwise) that matches the genuine helpfulness and friendliness of R & B Music.

Admittedly there are few occasions where brick and mortar outdoes the convenience of online retail. That being said, Amazon reviews and countless hours of trawling internet forums still pales in comparison to the personalised advice given by the genuine, attentive and highly knowledgeable staff of this store.

Went in for some strings and plectrums. Great range of strings and leads ! Female staff member was very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend and I will be going back for Christmas gifts when they reopen after shutdown.

For a music shop the stock is lacking, the place is dark and unwelcoming, plus the bloke who served me is aggressive, the shop is more grotty then grotto, no wonder people shop on line. Really needs money spending on the property it’s really outdated.
