I had a faulty Snare Drum (bought a full Alesis Drum Kit in August 2021), i reported this to Andertons and received confirmation from the Vendor warranty parts need to be handled by place of purchase i.e Andertons, i sent them proof of purchase, they have ignored my mails, i have had to ask the manufacture to step in, nearly 2 weeks now and still no feedback from Andertons! Extremely dissapointed in their customer care, be very careful on replacing faulty parts with them as they are reluctant to respond!

Excellent service visiting the store. The staff encouraged me to try the guitars I was interested in side by side in a dedicated room. They gave me as much time as I needed and were attentive without being pushy.

When I asked questions about a specific feature on the guitar the guy didn't know and so rather than give an invalid answer he went to find the right person.
This was greatly appreciated.

I had gear to part exchange. Part exchanging in a store is never going to get the best price compared to private selling, but their exchange policy is clearly explained and is consistent. I value this transparent approach.

Andertons have separate section for the really pricey/ rare guitars. The staff are extremely careful and protective of these guitars. This is good to know as if I was buying these guitars I wouldn't want the usual handling that takes place with normal shop floor stock.

Andertons were absolutely fantastic. I was exceptionally fussy about which guitar I wanted and was adamant which one I wanted but completely changed my mind once I got there. The guys didn’t loose their patience and did everything possible to help me decide which guitar I wanted. They weren’t pushy or impatient, they just left me to pace around the shop trying to decide which Les Paul I would finally be taking home. They helped when I asked questions and genuinely did there level best to help with my purchase. Well worth the 7 hour drive to get there. Top work guys and I’m one very happy customer.

My latest purchase of many from Andertons was the Empress Effects Bass Compressor Pedal in blue. As always Andertons service was excellent and delivery prompt. The pedal itself is fantastic, very versatile and easy to use. I look forward to trying some other Empress products, if this is anything to go by they'll be fabulous.

Back in May I was travelling through the UK (from Australia). Since I’m a big fan of the YouTube channel, I convinced my fiancé to drop into Andertons while we were travelling to visit family on a tight schedule. The shop is large and has quite a nice range of guitars on display. I was hoping to test out a Rabea Chapman guitar however the staff wouldn’t approach me at all… so after a few minutes we left the store. Probably would have made a sale out of me too, maybe next time…

At least I can brag to my mates in Australia I’ve been to the Andertons store in Guildford UK.

I live on west coast of the United States in Portland, OR and never thought I'd order a guitar from a music store in the UK. But I watch Andertons Music YouTube videos because they do great gear reviews, particularly Fender guitars. I saw a guitar in one of their videos that I really wanted. I searched everywhere in the US online stores and even checked the Fender company website looking for the specific model I'd seen on Andertons. Couldn't find it anywhere so decided to check out the cost to get it directly from Andertons. I was sure it would be prohibitively expensive because of shipping if nothing else. I was wrong. The shipping charge was only $65 US dollars. It was shipped via DHL and arrived 7 days after I placed the online order! That's amazing. It was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Oh and I should mention, the guitar was on sale, too. I still can't believe I got the guitar in only 7 freakin' days and for a very reasonable price. Five well deserved stars for Andertons.

A few months ago I bought a new Sire acoustic guitar from Andertons.
As a novice player I had been feeling that the string action was too high but after sending photos and explaining my view Andertons immediately took it back without hassle or question, made various adjustments to the bridge, nut and some of the frets, fitted a new set of strings and returned the instrument to me - all at no charge, under warranty.
The guitar is now far more comfortable to play.
Their courtesy, responsiveness via phone and email, quality of work and overall customer service level has been quite incredible, in an age when few companies even bother to understand their customers' concerns. I highly recommend Andertons, without reservation.
They were simply brilliant to deal with.

I ordered a Drum Microphone set for my son’s Christmas which was an easy process online. The staff in Anderstons were exceptional with their support when I showed my anxiety about a timely and safe delivery of this expensive item Each call I made was answered promptly and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable as they explained in detail the process and the timings. When the order did not arrive on the expected day, they were the ones who made contact with the delivery company and kept me up to date. The communication by email was excellent and no query was left unanswered. I will definitely order from them again. Highly recommended.
