Le Lotus Canterbury

I’ve used this nail bar for a year and found it very hit and miss. It really does depend on who you get. Paulina is excellent, she really does a good job but I’m afraid I’ve never been too happy with any of the others. This time I paid £44 for SNS dipping powder removal and reapply to my natural nails with gel polish on top. The powder hasn’t been applied thick enough and within a day one nail had chipped and lifted. I’m now on day 3 and I have 3 chipped nails. This isn’t something you expect when paying so much. I’m very disappointed.
It’s also very annoying that they only take cash, yet located nowhere near a ATM.

Depending on who does your nails the quality of service can vary.

My second visit was horrendous and I won't come here again. As for the quality of the nails, also below standard. Nails are different lengths in each hand as she didn't check.
If they can't spare 5 minutes to help customers and try to be nice then what is the point. The issue I had was that she was rushing me to decide on which colours (as I wanted all different colours) and when I began putting them on, I didnt like them. So she told me to decide now or wait elsewhere as other customers are waiting, eventhough I had booked an appointment.

Quality service. I came in and asked for quite a complicated design, but the lovely staff went above and beyond to give me the prettiest nails! I’ve never been disappointed. The staff are really polite too. The best nail bar in Canterbury x

Le Lotus is one of the few best places in Canterbury for nails. Some of my friends have been their clients for a long time, so I decided to trust them as well and give it a try. After what Jamie did to my nails, I was speechless. He was amazing. So careful with all of the details and everything and I left the salon more than happy. Thank you to the whole team for their job, their nice behaviour every time and especially to Jamie for making me feel so special🥰

My teenage daughter and her 2 friends used this service today, they spent between £46-48 on their nails (which is a lot of money for 3 teens) which wouldn’t be a problem if I thought they were good quality. My daughter has a black spot that shouldn’t be there and her other friend was rushed into deciding what to have as what she wanted was too much time, even though nail tech had the exact nails she wanted. Plus no one says it’s cash only, so they had to quickly run around to get cash out. My daughter is attending a party on Saturday and after spending £46 she has an annoying black glitter spot on one nail 😮‍💨
Definitely feel because they were young they got treated differently 😞

Very happy with my nails. This photo is 5 days later and they’re lasting really well. Not too long to wait, lovely staff and a nice variety of colours which are easy to choose from. Will be back!

First time I’ve been back since lockdown hit
March 2020. I started going to a more local salon where I live as it was easier with working from home. However with the quality and care taken with my nails by Lynda this time I will definitely make the extra journey to come back for the same great service! Lots of new colours, methods and styles to choose from which is more than other salons offer. I also love the new refurbishment of the nail salon, keep it up!

Lynda was so friendly and very attentive! She made sure the nails were exactly as I wanted and really paid attention to the shape. Also very lovely to chat to. I’ve always had a great experience at Le Lotus (it’s a beautiful salon), although Lynda made it extra special!
