It used to be a nice place with welcoming staff, however since new management it seems it’s changed. the staff makes you feel really unwelcome, I have a feeling that they just want to finish with you asap. I’ve been there 3times in the last month and they didn’t do a great job with my nails either. I will definitely start looking for a new nail salon. Such a shame.

I don't know why I've come here again and again. Basically out of convenience but it is always the most inconvenient experience. The nail technicians are about as skilled as I am, its painfully slow, someone will start your manicure or pedicure and about 3 other people will also do it (2 nails with one person, 3 with another etc). You have to watch everything they're doing as they lose focus or interest and will miss something. They have employees that really shouldn't be working with sharp objects. All in all the worst nail salon In the area and I'm simply writing this so others can avoid the awful experience I have had sadly more than once.

Just went into the salon to replace two nails of my shellac as they were peaking off. I was told they didn’t have the colour I had on so I decided to have them replaced. As they were taking off my nails colour with a drill -which I had asked them not to use as it hurt- they bought over the colour that I had originally asked for. I then decided just to have removal. They didn’t remove my shellac properly and charged me £10 without filing or buffing the nail. She also cut me when removing shellac.

They then told me I could only pay with cash which they would walk me to the cash point or bank transfer them. I explained I only had a card I could pay on machine with. They then tutted and rolled there eyes and gave me a card machine.

The whole time this was happening another worker was arguing with a plumber.

Such a great service! Good pricings- nails very tough and lasted a long time

Only reason 4/5 is because it was a tad loud and I couldn't hear what was being said, but that can't be helped, definitely will go back again!

Poor experience. When asked about student discount (which is mentioned as a headline on their website), they started talking in their mother tongue, and I could feel how annoyed they got by me asking for the student discount (which is one pound off only). They do not accept card machines. They demand for cash or bank transfer, which is weird and inconvenient for many of us.

It is impossible for customers to talk to the real manager! Staff of the salon are rude they constantly lie that the manager is on holidays or that the manager is never in the salon (so the owner) and that they (staff) cannot give any information on how to contact the manager. Staff just hangs up the phone if asked about the manger! Then someone who calls himself an owner/manager replies to reviews on google and asks to call the salon for them, such a joke!
My salon experience: It was bad, they are working in such a rush. I did choose a bright color but I did not want to make it too bright so I wanted to mention to do only 1 layer on top of the base, the lady called Anh, who did pedicure was so quick I did not even had time to mention anything as she did 2 layers on top of the base and did not even asked. I said I will have to leave it like this then even if I was unhappy. When I mentioned that it would have been better to do one base and 1 layer, Anh started almost arguing with me (not mention it was my birthday) and I explained to her that one base and one layer was more than enough for me and I am the customer and I might know better what I want. Anh, then raised her voice and started almost aggressively loudly repeat so everyone in the salon can here her that 2 layers are better because asshe says so. Basically, she did not even consider to do it the way customer asked her. Is it that difficult? And she was rudly loud on top of that.
May be it is the lack of English speaking skills. Do not advise anyone to go there, especially if you have an occasion.
"The owner or the manager of Amy's salon" who replies to Google reviews asks to call the salon to arrange something to "fix". I tried calling the salon and asked to speak with the manager but manager never in the salon, staff refuses to give any details on how to contact a manger or the owner who replies on google reviews and promising to fix the issues, total lies.

Rude staff that talk about their customers in Vietnamese constantly and unhappy about any requests they may have. They work in such rush and are constantly understaffed. This means that they have to switch between customers all the time and make each wait a very long time to have the manicure/ pedicure completed.

Even though my nails were not completed yet, they kept letting new people in, which delayed their service for me even further.
