5 Star Nails

Worst nail experience I have ever had. See photos - look at wobbly lines from the second coat. Woman doing hands was rushing and not gentle at all. Pedicure cuticle work and filing is terrible too.
First time visiting this salon and don't think I'll come back.

I will not be giving Five Star Nails 5 stars. Their service is absolutely disgraceful. Talking in their language about you and your nails and whatever else which is rude. Also if a nail has lifted after a week and you go back, it’s like they are doing you a favour - main lady in the middle said next time you pay and be careful with your nails - When I tried to discuss and ask what she meant she shouted louder and walked off in the back so she did not have to deal with my response. This is not acceptable as lifting nails after a week means it has not been applied correctly. They have no customer service skills, are extremely rude and obviously do a poor job with nails especially when you ask to refix an issue. I will not be going back and giving them 1p of my money due to the poor service, performance and attitude.

The boss lady in the middle is rude and really should not be in business if she treats people and customers like this - The service overall is a disgrace.

If people want to spend their money here, feel free to do so, however how they treat customers especially people from a different culture is very bad. Don’t waste your time or money.

Is by far the most worst nail shop ever! I don't think they know what they're doing. I feel sorry for my nails. They didnt clean the underside of my nails. literally just putting manicure not even cleaning it. Please be wiser and not waste your money.

If I can only give 0 I would, I do not recommend this shop at all and I usually never review but take it as a warning. I came in for acrylic removal and the lady (who was very judgemental about my sweaty hands) didn’t even bother to soak off the acrylic first, just went straight to filing through my nail bed, chipped off the acrylic using her nails and proceeded to “soak off” in cold water at the end. Whats even worse is that I can still feel my nails being so sore from being overfiled and I can still feel some lumps from leftover acrylic. She also proceeds to ask intrudingly about where I got my nails done before out of spite. Never coming back here ever again, avoid at all costs.

My pedicure was done by a young chap …… my goodness, he couldn’t understand me I couldn’t understand him, I kept asking his colleagues..sorry what did the gentleman say ?
Very bad workmanship…. Cutting your nails to the nail belly … 😳

They even deserve start , Really bad and rude boss woman , didn’t do what I want ,I wasn’t happy with my nail shape unprofessional service as she start doing my nail and jumping to other client on the middle of doing it also very pricey for normal color don’t ever go there anymore I won’t recommend this place if someone want to have nails

The guy doing my nails kept cutting my skin and pushing back my skin with his fingernail in a really aggressive way! When I kept telling him it hurts he just ignored it. And when I was telling him to file my nails in a specific way he kept acting like he was doing it right when I told him that's not how I wanted it done. It took him 1 hour and 20 mins just to do acrylics with shellac in a red! Such a poorly done job!

I had shellac removal and they over buffed my nails and one of them even through the original nail to my nail bed!
First the gentleman took a coarse nail file to buffer off the top layer before soaking into acetone, but he over buffed it that it went through the nail to the nail bed.
When soaking in acetone solution, instead of wrapping it with cotton and foil, he just poured a big bowl of solution and asked me to soak my fingers in it. The solution penetrated through my broken nail and it started to burn.
When I told them it’s hurting and he over buffed it, the lady said it’s just the colour and she’s going to buff it (again!) and I said no. She refused to believe they damaged my nail.
The picture is showing day 1 and 2 of the nail and can clearly see fluid coming through the wound!
