I have been using American Nails for the last nine years, I have never had any problems whatsoever. The staff are charming, helpful and very experienced. It is a pleasure to go there and the high standard of all the technicians is not to be faulted. I cannot understand if a customer is so unhappy with the standard of the workmanship that they do not complain at the time - the owners would be more than happy to put right any inconsistencies. Again ignore these nasty reviews the quality of all the staff is great.

I have been coming to this salon since I moved to Sevenoaks. Today I came in to get my nails done as I normally do every couple of weeks and one of the staff pulled me to the side and said I’m sorry none of my staff are willing to do your nails. I said why and he said because you were rude and shouting last time you came in. I’m literally in shock I’ve never been rude and/or shouting I have no idea what he was talking about. I said is it because of my race maybe they have a problem with me? because this did not happen, he said I’m not sure I’m sorry but I can’t do anything if they won’t do your nails. I’m honestly so shocked, I paid out over £80 on my last visit for my nails and feet, had a nail design done and said thank you and good bye, I usually use the same nail person Andy. I have no idea why they have treated me in this way and I think it’s disgusting if it is to do with my race

Never had such a rushed gel manicure. No care was taken to prepare my nails and I was in and out in 15 minutes. The result is a scruffy rushed job that looks like something I’ve attempted to do myself. Won’t be returning there.

Average service, didn’t fully prep my nails, my gel polish is already chipping (after 1 week when usually they never chip just grow out), nails weren’t filed straight either and were all filed at different lengths. Very rushed job, unfriendly staff, could have done it better myself instead of wasting £20

Rubbish quality polish

This was my first time getting my nails done. I’m 17 and wanted to treat myself. I’m not one to leave nasty reviews but just want to let people know what they’re in for.
I asked for all french tips and one nail with a design, i can appreciate the effort as it was a difficult design, however, i expected for my cuticles to be pushed back and cut as that’s why i’ve been told that’s what they are supposed to do, one of my nails turned out wonky and my fingers hurt as the nails push into my nail bed because they didn’t file any of my nails nor the acrylics down properly i assume.
I ended up just filing down the sides myself as there’s so much pressure in the skin around my nails.
Overall, service was pretty good, the lady who did my nails was kind and tried her best. But i feel more effort could’ve been put in for the price i paid (£40)

language barrier took 20 minutes to communicate and the staff were rude. The nails where way over priced and bad. I finished with blisters and the skin around my nails are sore. I asked for a refill and some of my nails had fallen of because of bad quality before and they charged more to get them fixed then to get a new set.

Not one for writing reviews but …. Went for a pedicure Saturday evening it lasted all of 25 minutes and was the worst I’ve ever had left most of hard skin and nail varnish had lumps in it , it looked horrible, the lady was lazy and rude, I’ve been coming here for 12 years and never had a problem but this time was a joke , so I called today and said I wasn’t happy with it which I have never had to do because it’s usually always so good , when I went in they was so rude like I had done something wrong , never apologised at all just all spoke to eachother in Chinese which I think is so rude anyway and obviously talking about me not that I care …. But moral of the story they didn’t care no customer service at all, for a client that’s gone there for all those years …. I will never return there again !!!!

Where do I begin. The service was rushed all the way through which reflected the quality and finishing of my nails. I was pressured into going for gel (£35) option when I had already said I did not want it. After being asked more then twice I felt I had to go with it. Clearly the normal manicure extension (£22 maybe £22.5) was not good enough for them so maybe should not be an option at all. Asked for square nails tips with rounded corners ended up with almost almond shape. Overall would never go back.
