American Star Nails

Would NEVER come back here again! Went for a pedicure and they let me go with wet nail polish. I called and complained, I was asked to come back. I returned and explained to 2 members of staff my nail polish smudge and wanted it fixed. She gave me a whole new pedicure, which I thought was goodwill. When completed I was made to pay for the pedicure!!! The manager said the ladies I told don't speak fluent English. I had 2 memebers of staff attacking me, for something which was their fault!! THE SERVICE AND TREATMENT IS VERY POOR!

It's a great place for fast service, they are always busy so must be doing something right as they aren't the cheapest! The language barrier does mean some of the staff misunderstand you or do their own thing. Eg: my nails were cut super short this time. But 9/10 they are great and offer you a drink too. They clean all the equipment there and then and open new equipment in front of you, which is great!

Went in to have my acrylics infilled and one of them repaired that had came loose, and left with all of my nails taken off.

Rather than replace the damaged acrylic with a new one the woman proceeded to pull up the damaged acrylic along with my own nail and reglue it causing extreme pain.

When another member of staff came along to finish he was shocked at the "repaired" nail and questioned where "I got my nails done" once I had explained that it was done here another person tried to cover up the terrible service and told me that I had got an infection where the acrylic had lifted off

stating that that was the reason why my nail was full of pus however no pus was coming from my nail only blood where my nail had been pushed down by the first woman so I was left to pay £10 to get them removed.

The BEST nail bar!! I have been having my nails done regularly at American Star Nails by Ana for years. Having tried many other shops previously I would never go anywhere else. They are so precise and offer a fast service. It does get very busy, but the wait is never that long due to the amount of staff they have working timelessly to see everyone. There are so many choices of colours, designs and techniques at a very reasonable price. Ask about their loyalty cards - Every treatment over £15 gets you a stamp and earns you £15 off on your 10th visit! Well worth it! Have recommended to many people and will continue to do so!

Came in for a pedicure, such a rush job. Then they made one of the juniors paint my nails and she layered it so thick 6 hours later the paint is moving and not dry!!! It’s all damaged.
Will never go here again they just interested in money.

Just awful service, found another salon now also open on Sundays that did an amazing job and actually care about there customers.

Goodbye American star nails will never have my custom again!!!

Had my nails done today and was absolutely delighted with results. Beautiful nails done very professionally and very fast by friendly polite staff. Will definitely be going back. Great service

Very rude staff and have no respect to their customers as they only want your money without doing a descent job as my 5 nails chipped off after only 2 day's of getting them done. They rush the job and have no patience or understanding of their customers and want to get rid of you as soon as possible and make you feel really uncomfortable and unwanted .They
always speak in their own language amongst each other as If your not even there and pay no attention to anyone but themselves . I went back after 2 days and politely asked to fix the nails that broke and I have been told in a very rude manner to pay extra £20 to get the broken nails redone . I explained that the nails were done 2 days ago in their nail shop and payed £35 for them but they started to blame me that for some unknown reason I was careless and they did a good job and If I want to get them redone I will have to pay another £20 just to get the money from me and not to fix my nails so I just left I didn't want to argue with these terrible people and get upset. Overall very poor customer service the staff have no humanity or any care towards their customers and I will never go there again as I'd rather go to another place where people are fair and treat me as a human with more respect and decency . Honestly ladys take my advice don't go there and don't waste your money as they will charge a lot and your nails will break within couple of days and they will not fix them for you unless you pay again . Absolutely disgusting customer service and terribly horrible people !
