Top Nails

Really nice and cosy atmosphere. I've just moved to Northampton and this was the only place I found that would readily do pedicures for guys. Cindy the owner is chatty and very friendly and I didn't feel any of those awkward moments you can sometimes get in a nail salon as a bloke. A++ all the way!

I was feeling impulsive to do something nice for myself while in town as an anniversary gift to me, so I researched the best nail salons in Northampton for their nail art. I began gathering some images for the nails I desired and I instantly made an appointment when I saw Top Nails other work. It was extremely last minute but they tailored to me as much as possible to create the most perfect nails. Now, I never get my nails done, I've had acrylics 3 times in my life so I wasn't afraid to splurge, yet the £60 I paid for them feels very reasonable. They managed to do way better than expected, giving the fact I was terribly unorganised with this design and my phone died during the appointment so I couldn't show a reference for part of it. These nails lasted me so long, not a single one fell off for over an entire month without any infills. The man behind the artwork is Tony, thank you so so much! You're incredibly gifted and clearly have a passion for your work. These nails are Zodiac, Ouija, Witch inspired. Everyone else working in the salon made it a nice, welcoming environment which is definitely something that should be mentioned too. Thanks Top Nails for gaining a new loyal customer and making my nails so jaw-droppingly gorgeous and me very happy!

I am so unhappy with my experience, I was getting my nails done and while getting them done the guy who was doing them wasn't even paying attention to my nails he was just laughing. The mixture of the acrylic powder was so thick and bumpy I could tell he was not experienced at all. The powder was so thick it started too feel heavy on my nails bed. I asked for square shape he was doing coffin. I spoke up and the manager Eric told him to take it off, I thought they were going to redo them but Eric refused to do them as apparently I will never be happy... Then he was having a go at me how he has trained everyone and how he has a big reputation in Northampton for nails. I basically left with a weak damage nail bed due to so much filing. Not happy at all.

I always used to get nails done with them as quality of nails always looked nice. I had some ok expierence and some bad... On the last visit staff were just messing around, playing with their phones whilst doing my nails changing music etc..they damaged skin around my nails from filing too much and also burned my nail with electric filer. In the past they double booked themselves so people had to wait over one hour... I just don't think they value me as customer so I will take my business somewhere else
