If I could give this place 0 stars I would after my experience today. I’ve been going to this place to get my nails done for over 2 years now. I went in today like I would any other normal day to get my nails done. I get something different to what I usually get and I wasn’t sure how much it was so I gave the old lady (the owner) £30 because I knew that it would be between £17-£21 roughly. She gave me back £2 and I thought it was unusual to pay £28 for just a bit of gel polish. I proceeded to ask her how much the nails were and she said £18. I told her I gave her £30 so I was expecting £12 back. She became defensive and was adamant that I gave her £20 which I know full well I didn’t. I told her to check the cameras and she said she couldn’t for whatever reason and said she was going to ask her her husband (idk what exactly she wanted to ask him) anyways in the end she ended up giving me back my money. These people are hungry for money so if you do go here, make sure you have the exact amount or they will end up scamming you!!! I will not be going here again.

Nails will be nice and beautifully crafted at the end, and always consistent. However, don't ex pect amazing customer service, there will be attitude and rude looks, it's a struggle I'm willing to overlook though,because my nails are always slayed. Win some, lose some.

I decided to try this nail shop because I was in the area and my usual nail shop was far away. As soon as I entered the shop, a woman literally shoved the nail colour samples into my hand as though I was an inconvenience. I tried to show the woman a picture of the colour I wanted on my phone. She shouted and stated "PICK A COLOUR FROM SAMPLE COLOURS, NO PICTURES". They were reluctant to do a simple nail design which is very ironic seeing as though it is a NAIL SHOP. Nails were rushed, I got shellac polish on my nails and feet and they did not even bother to SOAK it off properly. They just drilled and drilled until the old polish was gone. I was told that the shellac on nails does not include any simple cuticle care as that was reserved for the manicure service only. That baffled me because cuticle care is standard nail practice anywhere else I have been. I opted to get some gem diamonds which I was told was £3 per 10 diamonds. However, when I was showed the diamonds, I picked ones which unknown to be were £4. The woman doing my nails then proceeded to stick the diamonds without informing me of the price. Then another woman who I can only assume is the boss stated "It's £4". At this point it was late to decline having those specific diamonds on. I am glad I went to get my nails done there because now I can completely rule them when considering where to get my nails done in the future. The finished product of my nails was average which is why I did not kick up a massive fuss. It was obvious that the workers wanted to leave the shop on time so did a SUBPAR job. I will be sticking to the old nail place which understands CUSTOMER SERVICE, CUTICLE CARE AND ARE UPFRONT WITH COSTS.

Terrible service, I used to come here years ago and the service was excellent, not anymore don’t waste your time or money. I had the man and he did what he wanted not what I asked for, then he got angry so I paid and left without completing my nails. I left with terrible nails. Worst service ever. Same shop but definitely not the same ppl.

Absolutely lovely, friendly and warm working environment. Plus you get a loyalty card with them every 6th visit 5 pounds off. Professional and friendly service. 👌

Just got my nails done by Meï and what a pro. I'm so happy with it, a simple style but the attention to detail is superb. Thanks again !

I loved it as soon as I came in they had good customer service and let me show them photos they did my nails exactly like I asked them to and I love them definitely will be going back !
