Hollywood Nails

I will give a good review. Simply because I never book an appointment but they always fit me in. O always get asked what I'd like. Very professional. My only snag is, it would be nice to be spoken to more.

Coming to the Bury area and finding Hollywood nails has been a great find. The shape is Always right. My nails Never lift and the gel polish is nice.

I got a French design with acrylic and gel which was £40. I felt pretty uncomfortable the whole time they cut them really short when I ask for medium and over filed the edges of the almond. The lady tutted at me when I pointed out a nail was uneven. The price list also says gel acrylic is £25 and nail art £5-7 so I wa expecting to pay £30-32 not £40. The design was done very well to be fair to her and I was only in there for an hour.

came to holly wood nails today with a appointment. i was sat there on a foot wash stool for a good 20 minutes because nobody asked me if i had a appointment. the place was jammed and overflowing of people.
i finally got my nails done and i wanted acrylics with NORMAL nail varnish and not gel. they put gel on my nails even when i said no but insisted “it was a gel style”
i didn’t want to pay extra for gel but i eventually gave in with how adamant they were. they also cut them far far to short. these were meant to be my summer nails and they look like nails for 8 year olds.
the nail art looks like it’s done by a 8 year old and the pick-up of the acrylics powder was small. my acrylics feels very very thin. also feel like they are going to come off any second. i also at the beginning specifically asked they DONT cut my nails as they have a hard time growing. but for some odd reason they cut my natural nail so so short and stuck on the fake nail right on the edge.
they were very forceful with my hand as well and moved me all about which i wasn’t impressed with. and when i complained the nail art was uneven the person tutted at me.
if you are reading this ( the staff ) you treat your customers , who are paying your wages , nicely. if they’re saying something is wrong and they don’t like then they don’t like then obviously they’ll want it changed. because that’s what we’re paying you to do!!
i’m never coming here again and i’m so disappointed i got pressured into spending £40.
