The Nail Beautique

Went in for shellac, shellac marks were left on the skin around my nails from inaccurate and rushed varnishing. looked dirty and very bad quality. Raised the issue before the varnish had been set, this was ignored, then raised the issue again at the end when I was asked if it was ok, was told that it will just eventually fall off my skin and the reason it is there at all was that I have short nails. In the mean time I now look like I have dirty hands, embarrassing. I made it clear at the time this wasnt acceptable and was ignored and rudely brushed off hence the bad review.

My manicure was OK, if not comfortable. The manicurist was heavy handed, with hands like emery paper, unpleasant. The salon was very quiet but I was still rushed, not the most pleasant experience.

Not sure if I’ll go back, although have been going since the opening. Miss the original staff, so kind and nice, very different now, couldn’t wait to get out! Another salon opening across the road, will see. I would regret leaving but wasn’t comfortable today, shudder to think what it would be like if busy.

Staff need to take note, spend less time staring at phones, the more I think about it the more annoyed I get.

One or two of the staff could possibly be from the original team as they’re very nice. I would like to stay loyal, on the other hand, I can’t be made to feel uncomfortable when having what should be an enjoyable, relaxing experience.

Absolutely amazing. Been using this place for 3 years now and never had a bad experience. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the service is perfect 😊

My daughter (12) saved her holiday money to get her nails done (19/7 full acrylics) by Thursday (25/7) one had come off and had to be redone by someone else (On holiday and also said the rest wouldn't last long) the rest started to come off today (28/7). Very disappointd and wont be going back again 😡

Strongly working with covid social distancing guidelines, with perspex dividers, hand washing, masks and sanitiser. Felt very safe. Great nails as always. Decent prices.

A girlfriend recommended their pedicure. If you like a really thorough job, this is for you! Absolutely great first visit, fab team, really professional. Picked up a loyalty card as I will be going back, regularly. Thank you 🙏🏽 Awesome manicure too, just normal nail polish (not gel) on finger nails, looks awesome!

This is such a happy, friendly and professional nail bar. The best I’ve been to. The atmosphere is great, the staff are polite and friendly and the quality of their work is amazing. Will be returning.
