Love these woods for walking the dogs, I used to come here a lot and recently visited again yesterday. Parking is £2 unless you are a member of the Trust, but long lovely beautiful walks and lots of wonderful nature. Lots of families come for the day with the kids and lots of great bike trails here too

It's not all about the suspension bridge.. some great walking in woods and along the river, surprised at area covered, can get busy, and who's idea was it to add pay for parking here! I mean choose how long your going to be £1 an hour, madness. Enjoy.

Leigh Woods is a brilliant city mountain biking place, some off pieste bits to find which are pretty awesome to be honest, well maintained and the small tabletop section approx 3/4 of the way round is good for practicing you jumping skills. On the weekend there is normally a coffee trailer there too.

Lots of lovely walks/runs/cycles to do and you can get a nice view of the suspension bridge. A few things built in the woods for kids to climb on.

Excellent forest walks that take in the majority of Leigh Woods, plus the Iron Age fort.

Great views of the Avon Gorge and the downs.

Mainly all weather tracks, but can get muddy. Fairly stroller/pushchair friendly with a couple of gates but no stiles. Signposted routes or you can go rogue and wonder how to climb back up from the river Avon as most paths eventually seem to lead down there.

No toilets, weekend only coffee van.

Great place for the kids to run around and let off some steam, or for the opposite a peaceful walk the woods. This place is massive and has lots of parking. You can choose to stick to the path or go off track through the trees like we did. Saw a few trails for mountain bikes too. Seemed to be a favourite with dog walkers.

Perfect for all the family. There are mountain bike routes and flat paths but you can also head off into the woods for more challenging terrain and to climb trees There are foraging opportunities all year round. Especially mushrooms. It’s great for for dog walking too.
