Nice place to visit for a good walk.
Lot's of geocaches nearby.
Car park is only £1.
Lot's of bird to see. Great views across the Wash. Don't venture onto the marshes, as they are deceptively dangerous and you can be caught by the incoming tide, as King John's baggage train found out!

We took the longer walk around, a stunning place with some interesting post war buildings to explore along one length and this section is suitable for wheelchairs & prams

Lovely place for a walk, pretty good paths. Car park £1.50 all day. You can walk right up to the Wash and ponder. Dogs welcome but MUST be kept on a lead. About an hour and forty minutes if you take the path up to the wash and back and do the wetlands trail

Such a beautiful place to go for a walk, to take your dogs on a sunny morning. Quiet and peaceful. Great place for some bird watching too. Good view of the wetlands and marshes. No dustbins because it's a nature reserve, so pls carry your waste back with you and do not litter.

Nice scenery, reasonable parking (£1.50 all day, free for rspb members), 2 walks marked, 1 about a mile around the lake, 1 about 3 miles around the whole reserve, though we extended to around 5 miles by going along to the right along the sea wall to the river, a nice walk back along the sea wall with an elevated view of the reserve. No facilities.

Lovely place to visit for a walk and some bird watching.
The full walk is 3 miles, which goes around the wetlands and then the lake. We also walked towards HMP North Sea Camp along the sea wall. Its a really nice view at the end out to sea. This made the whole walk 5 miles.
The car park is £1 all day. No toilets.

We went on the basis of exploring the WW2 gun emplacement area etc..
And it's well worth the drive if in the area, well cleaned an restored concrete monolith structures. My 2 sons were well excited. They is a footpath running through the gardens where you will find another pillbox.
