This is a wonderful mature woodland area with a number of well maintained trails throughout. This really is a place best visited on a Bright Sunny day with a gentle breeze. Under such conditions you get the dappled sunlight dancing on the woodland floor, filtered by the bright green canopy above. If you pick up the pamphlet from the information centre, you can follow the main paths around the woods and past the ponds. But if you go off these routes into the forest, it's best to have your smartphone with you, so you can navigate yourself back to the car park. Slough is very lucky to have this resource on it's doorstep.

really disappointed. Absolutely full of dogs off leads, in walking less than 200 feet had two run up and jump up my mother and watched a group of dogs fighting on the field by the cafe. not a nice experience at all.

Took my Frenchie with my daughter and grandchildren for a visit today. The grounds and layout are first class. Walked for 40 mins and then let Timmy of his lead. Spent further hour walking and he was able to have a great run. People we spoke to were very helpful and have been enjoying the facilites. Went to cafe for cake, hot chocolate and lattes. Will be back probably tomorrow.

Always love our walks in burnham beaches! It's amazing for exploring new grounds. In our experience with young children, we find an unexplored area each time we visit 😊 Very refreshing and picturesque! Ample parking spaces as well as cafe and toilets near the car park.

A lovely nature reserve, ideal for a family hike. There are 2 carparks, it cost £3 to stay for the whole day on the weekend. There's also a small eco cafe with picnic benches and toilets. There are lots of benches to sit and eat lunch on as you walk around the south side of the park. We did a 4 mile walk around the Burnham Beeches, which was pretty easy with not too many difficult sections. Also a great place for kids to explore.
