We love walking here as there is a good amount of woods to walk through. As it’s right next to Diglis Park, makes it great for running on a green too. Lots of benches & poo bins available. Nice walk along the River Severn, especially in spring/ summer - bit muddy in the winter tho. Connects to the Diglis footbridge leading to Chapter Meadows. If you’re up for a longer walk, you can stroll along the river (either side) up to Worcester’s Cathedral. Just off the green, towards the basin is a nice dog-friendly pub called The Anchor with a nice beer garden. Small fenced in play area for the little ones and a small off road car park for low cars (no tall vans), otherwise a fair bit of parking on the street. Enjoy your visit!

Bramble picking heaven! Lovely walk through, out to the river, and back the other side. Approx 4 1/2 miles round on this walk I think

Since this area has been looked after by the Friends of Diglis Fields the park and nature reserve has much improved. The park recieved a makeover in the past two years and is well managed and the nature reserve area has also been cut back. The paths which snake through the area have been there for many years but the overgrowth has been cut further back to allow improved access. Wild blackberries still grow in abundance in late summer and the paths which hug the river allow for some nice walks. There are occasional organised days in the Diglis Fields which are often supported by the model railway which allow public rides. The area is also good for dog walkers with plenty of dog waste bins and the paths are also good for running.

A manageable and interesting walk. Plenty of different bird species; nice walks around the trees: and magical in the autumn.

I have visited cherry orchard nature reserve hundreds of times. It is where I walk my dog. She has such a fun time there and it is vast and full of nature. It's quite beautiful especially the views of the river and the elderflower and blackberries that grow there. It could use a bit off cleaning up in some parts but ,other than that, it is an amazing place

An excellent place for dog walking. Clear paths have been cut and mown so you can meander around, with hedgerows and wild flowers, birds and insects.
