Wonderful Nature Reserve with free parking, litter bins, useful maps, benches, circular coastal walk of 3 miles or so,birding species info, paths and area well maintained by Wildlife Trust.Information Centre at The Marshes too.Close to major road networks thus road noise can be heard in certain parts of The Marshes however lovely green oasis in North of Portsmouth.

A great place for a walk with nature. Once you get away from the road and the traffic noise it's nice and tranquil. I walked from Broadmarsh car park near Havant around the southern edge and back through one of the paths through the marshes. This took about two hours and was about six miles. Saw a few bird watchers, dog walkers and fellow walkers on the way.

Lovely walk and nice scenery! Great amount of different birds, plants and nice marsh. There were not very direct local transports so having some stops on the Farlington marshes will be even better!Having some more boards showing different birds and plants to look forward for will be even better as well.

Wonderful spot just outside of Portsmouth to trudge around. There are usually a few friendly bird spotters around to chat too.

If you are unsteady on your feet or in a wheel chair, be prepared for uneven ground in a lot of places.

Walking around magnificent areas and having the opportunity to watch birds, take pictures and learning your children.

Great place for a peaceful walk.
Rescued a Buzzard from the sea, so pretty happy to have visited again. Good place for a bit of exercise!

It's a very peaceful area. To have a walk, do some bird watching and generally just relax your mind off of thing. Walking around the Peninsula completely is about 45 minutes to 1 hours. These a wide path that takes you all around.

Went on a cow hunt 🐂 as I've seen them there a few times but I think because it was during the winter and the marshes were rather deep they've been moved to somewhere indoors... but stunning views 😍 just extremely muddy!! Great for splashing in muddy puddles ☔ just don't forget your wellies!! 🥾🥾
