Visited Woorgreens Nature Reserve for the first time. Lovely place for doing a bit of Wildlife spotting. Could do with some benches or a Hide to watch the birds from. We enjoyed the walk around the Lake would have scored 5 * if had some seating.

Can visit this place and totally forgot that your in the middle of the forest. A hidden gem. Definitely not bike, pushchair or wheelchair friendly as the pathways are dried rutted mud unless it’s been raining and it will most possibly turn back into thick deep mud.

the walk around was fine it was just that there was some muddy areas on parts of the path I would otherwise have given it a higher rating

It is great walk around the lake, good for children as well.

Fantastic place to walk. Feels like you’ve left Gloucestershire scenery-wise. I really enjoyed adventuring here!
I have since seen a location for “Woorgreens parking,” which I shall try on my next visit. I got rather lost (despite having a map purchased from Beechenhurst) when parking at Speech House Car Park. I feel this may just be my lack of orienteering skill however, as other groups who parked in the same place as me were present when I finally arrived at the lake 🙄😂

Fabulous place...Full of wildlife, including Highland cattle and wild ponies
Definitely not bike, pushchair or wheelchair friendly as the pathways are dried rutted mud unless it’s been raining and it will most possibly turn back into thick deep mud.
