Very beautiful walk through the forest. Bit short really, even by following the long route... Unless I we went the wrong way. Lovely iron village and cozy tearoom. It felt like visiting new neighbours for tea and cookie rather than a business.

Cheap and cheerful, kept my two young daughters interested for a couple of hours. The Scowles/forest was lovely and cafe despite being dated was fine. Counting and finding the fairies was the highlight for my 5 year old.

Beautiful woods and replica of iron age dwellings. An interesting collection of animals too including a peacock and goat and a quirky cafe where you can stop for a cuppa while you take in the breathtaking colours and spirit of the forest or have a chat to one of the super friendly and knowledgeable volunteers! Look out for a fairy house along the way too. Elaine, the owner, was so helpful and happy to tell us about the history of the woods. To think that it was destined for landfill! Thank goodness for Elaine and her team of volunteers.

Found this little gem by pure accident, brilliant walk for children and dogs! (unlike puzzlewood who don't like dogs) fairly priced as well which was wonderful.

Came with My 27 yr old daughter! A really magical place to spend a couple of hours. Some of the fairies a little dodgy!! Beautiful forest. Had a really good cream tea at the cafe. Bought a lovely picture and some cards. Really quirky place. Loved it

Such a fantastic place to walk and enjoy the silence, beautiful souvenir and coffee shop. And keep your eyes wide to spot the fairies and the good stories!

What a little treasure the Secret Forest is! Great for all ages and interests. Lovely knowledgeable staff, a real authentic experience, truely great value too! The Iron Age village was a sight to experience especially in the glorious sunshine. Well maintained and not commercial, giving a truely authentic feel to the visit. Thank you so much!
