Beautiful beach up in the Lake District. Even the views of a nuclear power plant don't spoil the beauty of this beach. Parking isn't great as no car park as such. There is space for a few cars but otherwise it is finding space along the road. Beautiful sandy beach where children and dogs can have fun. Really clean beach too. Just be careful and know the tides as when the tide is coming in it can cut you off pretty quickly.

Car park at the end of a road, parking for about 20 cars on hardstanding ground, but no amenities are here.
Car park is free leading onto a fabulous beach, that is really clean and is also part of the English coastal route.
Try and get here as the sun is setting for some amazing views, across the Irish Sea and towards the Isle of man on the horizon. As always, please leave the area as you find it.

Lovely beach. Was a bit cold when we went but I can imagine it being beautiful on a summers day. Parking is limited but worth going there.

Beautiful place to walk and forget your worries. Whether it be along the beach or amongst the sand dunes. No matter what the weather

Beautiful beach that is easily accessible. The car park is close to the beach and is very safe for young families. When the tide recedes there are plenty of rock pools to explore

Lovely beach, we visited when the tide was out and the beach was huge. You could walk for miles and miles. We hardly saw anyone.

This is an amazing place that I never knew existed until Sunday morning. What a view... and I'm talking 360°. There is a super long length of beach to stroll across, there are some amazing rock pools that have some huuuge shells in. The ocean is there in all its glory for you to walk out to and then when you turn around, there are mountains beautiful Scarfell looking glorious. Couldn't recommend this walk enough. Possibly one of my favourite beach walks in Cumbria ❤️

Turn right for a coastal dune walk towards Seascale. Turn left for the beach. Great in winter for dog walking if you want to avoid a lot of dogs...we have a reactive grey. Could do with more parking, only room for about 10 cars.
