Nice path layout, a bit soggy off the paths, loads of birds and rabbits very secluded in parts with a lot of dog walkers and nice cafe in the Discovery Centre

The Chase Nature Reserve is a fantastic place to visit. If you're into nature, then this is the place for you. There are horses 🐎 roaming around that you can stroke. They are very friendly. People do walk their dogs 🐕 and the horses are not spooked. Plenty of birds 🐦 to hear singing in the trees and lots of waterfowl too. Managed to spot some hares, which was a nice treat. We went by train. Got off at Dagenham East. There is about a 25 minute walk to get there, but we'll worth it. Will be going back, because my daughter and I didn't mange to walk the whole thing.

Always enjoy a walk around this area. so much wildlife and pretty scenery you forget you’re in Dagenham! Can spend a good couple of hours exploring it all. Perfect place to walk in the summer whether with the family, a partner or a four legged friend.

Nature at its best! Eastends best kept secret!! Wonderful lakes, walkways, bird sanctuary, orchard, plants & trees and some creepy crawlies too! Family friendly & a cafe to take a break!

Wonderful, I love coming here. There are horses around however I have never gotten too close. There are educational posters around informing you of the wildlife present. Generally, a nice place to go and walk, although during the rainy season I recommend waterproof shoes as the off-road paths can get muddy and slightly flooded.

The Chase Nature Reserve is a very quiet & idyllic, it was a really nice walk & left me feeling a sense of calm after a full on day at work. Definitely going back, for another walk around.
