Fantastic example of chalk downland with huge variety of plant species plus a rare area of acidic plants including heather! Nice wooded and scrubby parts too. Steep climbs but a few benches to sit on and take in the views across to goodwood and the large amounts of butterflies fluttering around you.

The karibu running club do trail running from the fox goes free. Which has lots of parking and also serve very good food and local beers.

Very nice and quiet, good distance walk, few ponnies and livestock

Fantastic downland managed by the Sussex wildlife trust. Wild flowers were really beautiful and the juniper bushes covered in berries.

Beautiful views of Charlton and Goodwood. Classic downland vegetation. Watch out for rabbit's holes! and keep your ankles safe.

It's a Loverly quiet place with beautiful views of the Goodwood Trundel . At times there are sheep there which control the vegetation and you can also catch site of the beautiful Red Kites that abound in the area
