Beautiful place, really peaceful in the evening - dogs allowed, walk by the river through wooded area

It's a fascinating and quite place to spend your day. It has small free car park. Livestocks are around freely so be careful.

A beautiful walk through the forest.
A good size car park but like all, it can get busy.
There’s a small stream, plenty of room to let the kids play, walk the dog or sit & relax.

Such a beautiful and tranquil place. Ponies roaming freely with their foals. Streams trickling by and birds and butterflies flitting about.

Large car park for about 20-30 vehicles. Plenty of excellent walks can be taken from the car park. Can get quite busy at peak times but there always seems to be a space. The walks and scenery around here at beautiful. English countryside at its finest.

Parking for about 30 cars in the car park, which was about half full on a Sunday afternoon in November.

Access to plenty of woodland trails. Dog friendly.

Look out for the Portuguese fireplace!

Lovey walk in the forest. Can get quite busy even in the morning car park was half full and totally full by the time we got back.

A nice place to park for a walk. The bridge is nothing spectacular, just a small bridge over a narrow river, pleasant enough for a picnic all the same. You can walk all the way round to the Acres Down car park. It's a wooded walk on a hard packed gravel track. Wellies are not needed unless you leave the main track. The wildlife can be good. Deer and birds can pop up at any time.
