Matley Bog Inclosure

As with all inclosures, there is forest, and heathland. This one also has a boggy marsh - we visited on a rainy day in May so the bog was more boggy than normal but it didn't stop us enjoying the tranquility, birdsong and marsh flowers. Wandering ponies were an added bonus!

Perfect stop to jump onto the New Forest cycleway with easy access to Lyndhurst or Brockenhurst.

Well laid paths suitable for walking or cycling and child friendly.

One of the more quiter parts of the new forest, works as a perfect place to leash train our cat or get a decent picture of your car

Really pretty, quiet place. Lots of birds. Lovely walks. Matley campsite too. Easy to park not a totally flat walk though.

Lovely little enclosure made up of old woodland trees within easy reach of Lyndhurst

Nice New Forest setting, although camp site nearby, made it not as private, as I would have liked!

Lovely place with lots of walks. You can always see ponies and probably cattle, fellow deer and roe deer if you're fortunate. Bit busy though.

Nice big park! Watch your step the unicorn eggs are everywhere :)
