Beautiful surroundings, interesting workshops - the day I went we learned about bat behaviour and built bat boxes, then there was a botanical sketching class in the afternoon. An amazing project and a great opportunity to meet environmentally conscious, artistic people who are passionate about keeping London green. The herbal medicine field is fascinating, the staff are well informed and there's also a mini-library. The site is child-friendly, so the only downside is that the weather conditions could make or break the day, and there are currently no toilets on-site - so make that potty trip before you arrive!

I seriously don't understand what's the use of this useless place saw it ever since i learnt to walk now am a middle aged man still see it could become a block houses or apartments much better use. Only thing here is so many tree's in a big rectangle metal gated fence with natures foxs and full of leaves squirrels and here and there birds. And i see people going in and out having tea or coffe in there very rarely. It's behind a school to touching. People urinates in between the gate rails always meaning everyday. Its dark and gloomy the tiniest forest you'll see in your life.

What a truly beautiful space. What once was a WW2 bomb site has been transformed in recent years into a nature reserve. The garden provides free food and medicine for local community use.

Simple park, very muddy, one of the slides is quit dangerous especially when wet. My kids have both hurt themselves as it's too steep.

I visited after agreeing to assist with a friend's community art project here and I was well impressed by the excellent community use of this site of a WWII bomb site (previously a church). The site is rich in urban wildlife including a resident fox has a wheelchair accessible toilet. There is also a plant pharmacology area, currently being redeveloped. Phytology relies on volunteers from the local community and beyond.

Heard beautiful choral singing when walking past the other night, glimpsed through the railings coming from people around a campfire.
