Beautiful scenery and well marked paths make this a perfect area to walk in be it for a short walk or a pass through to another destination. Please respect the area and ensure the gates are shut behind you.

The stunning scenery all around this area makes it a must see. Great for hill walkers who like a moderate climb.

Lovely walk to Twenty Trees and beyond fabulous views over Hayfield village. Will venture towards Carr's Meadow in October. My Gran Dad and Auntie's lived in the village in the 50's like coming home. Lot of memories when I visited my Grandad as a teenager. Hayfield is one of our favourite places to visit never tire of it. The bench going up Twenty trees take in the lovely views. Friendly locals great pubs my second home. We try to visit once a year to get away from our hectic lives in Hampshire.

I highly recommend a visit to the famous 'twenty trees'. A place of real peace and beauty where the weary traveller can rest their head.

Wow, I certainly was not ready for what I have been through today...
We set out on this day with the hope of a relaxing walk to take some of the stresses of life away, little did I know that this place would open my mind and soul for an out of body experience. Some say these trees are the 8th wonder of the world, others say it's just 19 trees in a field, find out for yourselves but be prepared for your life to change forever.

Just off the Snake Path overlooking the lovely village of Hayfield one discovers this enchanting little Beech Tree Copse nestling in a gentle slope on the edge of the Peak District. Quite a spiritual and romantic experience to linger midst the shade of these tall noble trees and view the beautiful surrounding countryside. Hiking alone to my disappointment I also encountered the nearby quaintly named "Kissing Gate" with no damsel to kiss!! Crestfallen however I proceeded further along the trail towards the scenic Kinder Reservoir for more of the stunning and morale boosting sights this area has to offer.

Came specially to see 20 Trees, there are only 18. Incredibly disappointed considering I drove 150 miles.
