Beautiful and clean. Outstanding staff ! We loved learning more about the animals from the bird of prey show and meerkat feeding. Lovely lady at reception to for meet and greet, she was so friendly thank you. So much to do, we're coming back soon and we'll get membership and donate asap to the vultures! Had no idea how important they were. Lovely play area's to.

An amazing place, beautiful birds, a great flying display of owls and other fascinating birds of prey all looked after by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Spend some time with the Meerkats 😊Large children friendly area providing fun and education. Worthy place to support. Plenty of parking.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit.
Not just owls, but also buzzards, kestrels, eagles, vultures, red squirrels, ferrets, meerkats and more. Children will love it, but also a great place for adults. My wife adopts Cobweb the barn owl. Also a hospital on site.

This place is fantastic, no gimmicks, no tourist robbery prices for nothing, this is a simple concept - an owl sanctuary which has a variety of other birds and animals.

The prices are reasonable and there are enough beautiful animals to keep the biggest of kids entertained! The staff were friendly and informative to visitors and their passion for what they do really shows.

Definitely a hidden gem. Fabulous place, far more to see than we'd expected, so reasonably priced. 80 plus birds to see, clean and really well managed. Meerkat Kastle is great with a really interesting talk at 2.00pm. The keepers are well informed, and certainly entertaining !! The flying demonstration, at 2.30 pm was superb. Again, loads of information, birds flying very very close to us, plenty of opportunity for close up photos. There's seating areas all through the site. Play ground and play areas, including an indoor play barn, well tended grass and paths so very suitable for all abilities. Well priced shop, all very very positive. Absolute value for money.

We were looking through Google suggestions for somewhere to visit in the area and this was one that we'd both liked the look of. The entry cost was more than reasonable (in fact I thought it deserved a little bit more so left a donation on the way out from our visit). Everywhere within the sanctuary was very well kept and every animal looked to be in a healthy condition. All pens were a good size with plenty of items to keep them entertained. This place was far far bigger than first appearances gave, the bird displays were great and the young lady doing the flying was very informative and happy to answer questions. All in all a great place to visit well worth every penny.

The best little date day out. All staff were kind and helpful, we came on a Sunday when there was a carboot and there sadly was no where to park(no mention of carboot online) The lady directed us where we could park and we had such a relaxed time here. Great day out and so much more there than I would have thought! Guy was great with the meerkat talk too! Thanks guys!

Great place to visit for a few hours. Informative and good to know the entrance fee goes back into the running of the sanctuary, helping to fund the bird of prey hospital.
Unfortunately bird flu stopped the flying displays on our visit but I will return when the birds are back to what they love to do
