A very pleasant easy walk along an historic disused railway line that used to run between Nottingham and London St Pancras station.

This special Green Line footpath, was created as a right of way, after one of the old midland railway line routes closed, and this lovely footpath was created after being saved from destruction by local campaigners as building developers set out to destroy it. Now is an important spot for berries, green shoots trees, wild birds and bird song as the path runs v unusually at the end of a series of long gardens and big houses given nature protection from cars and roads. A favorite spot with dog walkers too, who unfortunately spoil it for others by not clearing up their dog mess. Lets respect and love this special place.

Nice walk saved by local people for the good of all and wild life. Graffiti on fencing spoils it but I see some has been removed. Well done.

Lovely nature walk in the middle of west Bridgford. Would be higher apart from the amount of dog poo
