When I knew this place it was 55 years ago no pathways, fences, just a cinder track from end of Travellers Land at time that was St Andrey's School. Great place to fish ( from the old Log ) and used camp up there in the winter. Deep water is 100% correct on a raft we put a fishing line down with a lead weight on it it went down about 50ft. We ran out of line.
