I walked into Bromptons 22 years ago and have stayed with them since. Karen and the team are brilliant. Highly expert and personable service, and great choice of frames. The eye tests have always been extremely thorough and professional, and you can unreservedly trust Karen’s advice on what is suitable. I am not an easy customer for eyewear, so I have really appreciated the guidance, and above all the patience over the years. I recommend Bromptons without hesitation.

A friend had a bad experience with another optician not picking up detached retina so I chose Bromptons on the recommendation of a neighbour. I was really happy with the eye check and test done by the owner. The vision test was thorough and the health test check thankfully ruled out concerns I had about eye health.

It was a spontaneous decision to return to Bromptons after a series of disappointing experiences with other well-known High Street opticians. It was like seeing old friends again - a warm welcome, excellent guidance offered to a tricky customer such as myself with a complicated prescription, and a speedy turnaround, including bespoke adjustment to the frames I’d chosen to make them absolutely perfect for me. Definitely recommended, especially if you’re slightly out of the ordinary with your prescription - you’ll be given a great result….

I've been getting my eyes tested and buying glasses here for nearly a decade. After years of going to high street chains, with very mixed results, Karen and the team at Brompton Opticians have taken excellent care of me and my terrible eyesight. I'm a big fan of Orgreen frames, and they have a fab range. Wouldn't go anywhere else these days.
