the service is good, prices are reasonable. i've been a customer for 5 years. but the amount of times i walked out after waiting for an hour. the amount of times i saw people just popping in and being served.the amount of times I heard names being called in vain, because they were fed up and left too. I will cancel and go somewhere else. better to stick to old glasses than grow old with them.

Had my ears syringed by Laura today at Specsavers in Worcester. I did initially feel a bit reluctant to pay out for for this service but it was the best money I have ever spent. It was not rushed, very convenient and considering past experience at the GP surgery I would still opt to pay for this service even if it was given for free by them. Laura explained everything, offered some really useful advice and has made a massive difference to my day.

Just rang in to enquire about getting my free pair for the year as mine split, the advisor I spoke so was so rude and arrogant. She was very patronising and unprofessional. Her name was Julie I will definitely be reporting her! I have been with Spec Savers over 20 years and have never experienced bad service until now!

Although it was busy, the staff were were warm and efficient making the wait not so bad. They took their time to deliver the best service.

Tried to charge me £35 for a CUES appointment arranged by my GP. Was also told I am not a priority and dry eye is not an emergency when no mention of dry eye was mentioned. Extremely unprofessional and seem to have no idea what they are doing with urgent patients.

I have been using Specsavers for a number of years now and have never been disappointed with the quality of my glasses and the professionalism of the staff in the Worcester branch

For the second time in a row I’ve had to return after collecting glasses to have the lenses changed. It seems not all the staff have the right skills and there’s not enough checking done by senior staff.

I have used specsavers for many years and have always been pleased with their service….until today.
Booked a 2.30pm appointment as I felt I had a build up of wax in one ear. Arrived, checked in and was told to sit in waiting area. Obviously nearing Christmas there was a fair amount of merriment at reception which seemed to result in a longer than usual wait. An elderly lady sitting next to me actually said “I think they have forgotten we are here, I have a 2.30 appointment”.
At 2.45 I was called in by my first name, no apology for the wait just a check that I was here for possible wax removal. I confirmed this was the case and signed the disclaimer, after which he looked in my right ear for five seconds, then my left ear for five seconds and said they were clear and did they feel blocked. I said yes, and he suggested I ‘make an appointment with your GP, and that’s £25 please’. I asked what about the their advertised complete ear health check …. if we don’t find wax “we'll complete a full ear health check, which costs £25.” I asked about the full ear health check and he said you’ve just had it! £25 pounds for about 30 seconds of looking in my ear and suggesting I see a GP.
The most unprofessional service I have ever encountered. My wife is due an appointment tomorrow but is cancelling as can’t afford another £25 possibly ten seconds of someone looking in her ears!!
Incidentally my last visit ever to specsavers.
……Follow up… saw my GP who immediately informed me my ears were red and inflamed, specsavers didn’t even pick this up on their full ear health check!! Now on antibiotics.
