I visited on Saturday for an eye test. They were really busy, but still had the time to help me select the right frame styles for my face. Every member of staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful despite the pressure they were under. I would highly recommend Christchurch Specsavers.

Today I came in as my glasses needed adjusting as they were too tight and painful.
Once adjusted again they were slipping down.
Unfortunately the opinion was “I can make them tighter but it will be the same “.
Really? Can’t we get a good happy medium where they are adjusted to comfortable?

Hugely frustrating and pointless exercise trying to get buy glasses at Specsavers Christchurch. The Director - Emily - is simply not interested whether you have received what you've paid for or not. My 2 pairs of glasses cost £412. Appointment to collect glasses cancelled as they hadn't arrived. When I did collect them I was then away for 6 days and didn't take my old work glasses with me....only to find the optician had given the wrong prescription. Everything was blurry trying to work on a laptop. I attempted to contact Specsavers Christchurch to get this resolved - called at least 10 times - you often get a message saying you are in a virtual queue and will be called back. You never are. 4 emails to the Manager and Director - Emily - no replies. Called and left a message for the Manager - Lauren - never returned my call. Called to speak to the Director Emily who didn't take my call as she was "talking to a member of staff". When she did call me back she was familiar with my emails but never replied. 2 days later I got bored of Specsavers Christchurch having my money but me having no glasses for work and went to the branch for a refund. I was very annoyed, specifically because there was so little interest or speed on the part of the store Director. Emily is the person familiar with my case and was there but sent another to issue the refund. She called me later. You might imagine she was phoning with a genuine apology for a very stressful incorrect diagnosis....the incorrect prescription.....the month with no reading glasses having already paid.....the ignored calls & messages.....the ignored emails....me having to contact them at least 15 times to elicit any response...and all the energy and time wasted trying to get a pair of glasses supplied by Specsavers Christchurch. Absolutely not. Emily offered a cursory apology but had really had called to say how unreasonable I had been, how upsetting it had been for the member of staff sent out to process the refund when Emily didn't have the courtesy to deal with it personally and that she'd closed my account. And yes I have filled out their webform a week ago.....Guess what? No reply.

Went to have my routine eye test today and even though the store was really busy, they were well organised. I had the newly qualified Optometrist, Zaid, he was absolutely lovely. I’ve always thought previously that the optometrists really didn’t want to be there but Zaid spoke to me like a human, explained everything and showed me my 3D eye scan. He was brilliant and really restored my faith in Specsavers, Christchurch. Very pleased he was my optometrist today.

5 stars for their customer service, along with expert eye health care, doing lots more than any GP can due to the equipment available.

Always so busy and I always seem to be overlooked. Asked to sit at back and waited for ages when all I was doing was picking up my glasses.
Will not be using them again .

Staff lovely and very helpful but I am still waiting for my prescription glasses to arrive - 4 weeks later! A Specsaver problem rather than a branch problem I believe. Disappointed as I have never waited this long and my husband’s glasses ordered at the same time came in 2 weeks ago☹️

Was helped by Sally! So helpful- had a pair of broken glasses! Did everything she could to help find a solution due to broken glasses being discontinued!
