Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Cowbridge

it's brilliant here. the staff are so friendly, the optician is thorough and explains everything, especially where my 2 young children are concerned as they both needed new specs. The assistant was really helpful and very patient with my children and she took her time to help with their choices of frames. The glasses are now ready to be collected and my children can't wait to go back to their specs!!!! My turn next for a check up, and I know I will receive the same service. Young or old, they treat everyone the same and if you have any issues, no problem. is too big or to small!!!! We will definitely stay here for future appointments 😊

Really easy to book online, Beth and the Team I dealt with were very professional and helpful, I was very impressed with the covid safety measures in place,and the service I received, will definitely go back when I need new glasses.

I have been a cilent of Specsavers for the past 10 years, going systematically every two years for eyes tests and new glasses and not a single time was I happy with the results.
The most recent time I went was the last time I will ever go. I just have enough.
Despite asking for the most budget lense exchange (I just wanted to watch TV in them, having got different glasses for driving and leaving house) which would cost under £16 (I have NHS discount as disability), the optician kept trying to push me to get the lenses that would cost me well over £40- she said those were the cheapest ones available for me too, even though I now know better.
Absolutely disgusting and horrible behaviour. I have nothing good to say about this brand.

I walked in without an appointment after being told by the pharmacy to go. They took my details and they booked me in to return within 20 minutes. I was given excellent treatment and medication with a follow up in 5 days. I booked with them then to have an eyesight test the following week. Every appointment COVID rules were followed and I was called prior to the appointments to check I was feeling well. The staff are excellent with fantastic knowledge. Highly highly recommended.

I was impressed with the service at Specsavers when I had my eyes tested in June and was very happy with the glasses I bought then. I was even more impressed this week when I had a sudden problem with the vision in my left eye. I requested an urgent appointment, was seen within the hour, had a thorough examination and was then sent off to Bridgend hospital where the eye unit staff were expecting me - as arranged by Andy the optician who examined me. And he even rang later to check how things had gone at the hospital. What excellent service. Knowledgeable and caring. You can't ask for more.

I have been a patient of Specsavers Cowbridge since they opened a few years ago and I have to say I can't praise them high enough. I have glaucoma and through this pandemic I have been unable to obtain any normal service from the hospital...but your optician Andy has. The thorough in depth service, help and clear advice has been second to none...always there when needed...and I must also mention Donna on Dispensing who is so helpful to....all go that extra mile!!
