Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Carmarthen

Thanks to all the team for going out of their way in an emergency. I live 40 miles from Carmarthen but was going there to see my Son. Specsaver Carmarthen fitted me in for an eye test when nobody else would. Their service is second to none. I couldn't get my glasses the same day BUT it wasn't a problem as they sent them me in the post....extremely Happy to be able to see and read again. Thanks Guys!!

Impossible to contact by telephone to ask a simple question. Online FAQs were no help and they suggest leaving a message but that you might not get a reply very quickly. Called at another branch where I was able to get an answer from two very helpful assistants. I am a former customer but shall not be using them in future.

I am a pensioner, had my eyes tested and new lenses, charged £130, got home, couldnt wear them, so i bought a cheap pair.

I broke my glasses and went in on the off chance, Faye couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent customer service.

I have been a Specsavers Carmarthen customer for 8-9 years and in my opinion their customer service has sadly fallen some distance.
Front of house/Initial greeting very poor even though store was not very busy.
The eye health image is now chargeable.
When collecting the glasses there was no fitting service to make sure glasses were 100%, when i requested fitting I was told "No, you take them away and if there's any problem bring them back".That's not what I expect when i'm being charged £318.00 for a pair of glasses.
I expect the experts at specsavers to do what they do well, and they still do, but it was the customer service that kept me coming back to this store...Not sure I'll be back next time

Never had such thorough tests carried out on my eyes. Took time to explain in details what they could see in the back of my eyes.
Staff are excellent & we even managed to have a few laughs along the way.

Far too busy. Very long wait despite having an appointment. Noisy. When it came to choosing frames I felt very rushed. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Just popped in so they could tighten up a screw. He yook my glasses and gave ghem z goid overall cleaning them, tightening up the screw and bending the glasses to fit better.
Great after service. Friendly and polite.
When I had my eyes tested they were brilliant with me.
Fair play to them top notch service. They slso repair glasses that you gave bought elsewhere free of charge!
The store is clean and tidy.
Wheelchair access no problem.
Served within a minute or less of walking in.
Will return again for my next eye test and glasses
